Samuel Isaiah’s career began in a rural indigenous school, where he was driven by a passion for transforming education from the ground up. With over 15 years of experience, Samuel now leads PEMIMPIN Global School Leaders as Executive Director, spearheading initiatives that empower thousands of teachers and school leaders across Malaysia.

In 2020, Samuel became the first Malaysian to be named a Top 10 finalist for the Global Teacher Prize, recognizing his groundbreaking work with Orang Asli students. His leadership and influence have since earned him a place among Asia’s Most Influential in Education (2021 & 2022), as well as the prestigious Anugerah Harapan Merdeka in 2022.

Samuel firmly believes that meaningful educational reform starts in the classroom. He continues to champion the teachers who drive this change, fostering an ecosystem of leadership that impacts students, schools, and systems nationwide.
